About Stories of Hope 

• These are great Bible stories from the Gospels to use with pre-Christians and newer Christians (and even mature Christians), using the DBS method. They are stories of hope, often with healings and other miraculous acts. They are great at releasing hope that God truly does care for people's needs. 

• Stories of Hope are used especially for those not ready to fully commit, but who show some interest. They are very straight forward, simple and memorable stories. At the same time, do keep in mind that these stories are actually good for any person wherever they find themselves in their walk with God - far or near.  

• There is no particular order for these stand-alone stories. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you in selecting a story of hope for the person with whom you are sharing or doing a Discovery Bible Study. 

• Do note that there are more of these stories of hope in the Gospels, but because some of them were used in The Commands of Christ, they were excluded from this list. 

• In addition, these stories can also be told orally to people who show some interest but haven't yet committed to a Bible Study (Examples of an orally shared story of Zacchaeus: The Pharisee and the Tax Collector as retold by Carlee & Andrew.
