5 Circles of Healthy Church

Jimmy Seibert's Sermon Excerpt on "5 Circles of Healthy Church"

...If Jesus has called us to reach our city, He's also called us to reach our nation. He's also called us to reach the nations. So let's live life and do church in such away that we can reproduce it anywhere in the world. Yes, we will have to adapt language. Yes we'll have to adapt some culture. Some of these circles we will have to adapt them in different cultures... But in the end, the New Testament church works everywhere in the world.

When the New Testament Church is healthy and strong, you will see all five of these circles expressed in some way, because they are all needful for the longevity of the Kingdom of God to be made manifest.

Two reasons I wanted to admonish all of us in the 5 Circles of Healthy Church:

First, it is is a great little evaluation tool:

Everything is of and by and through the church, for the glory of God and the transformation of the world...

Secondly,  I want to make sure we don't follow one circle to an obsession and be deceived that the others aren't Biblical or matter. Obsession with one thing becomes deception to others. There is a balance to the kingdom of God that is needful when we talk about church expression... We need to constantly evaluate: is this effective? Are we doing it well? Are we doing it in a healthy way? Are we honoring Jesus?

All of these are not only Biblical, they are central to the health and life of the church. In the end I got one goal: "Jesus be glorified." Help as many people as it possible for your glory. And may all hear and all know, in our lifetime, so that Your Kingdom can come and Your will be done... The church is God's plan A for the glory of God.

When we do church in a healthy way, we are doing everything we can to contribute to God's end game, and that's so that His glory be made manifest in all the earth.
