Exercises to Grow in HESED LOVE for People
EXERCISE #1: Sharing And Receiving Weakness (Small Group Activity)
Go around the circle and share the following:
A physical weakness (a sore knee, a cold, a headache)
A relationship weakness (broken friendship, marriage problem, family problem)
A character weakness (a low-level or medium level character flaw). See directions for how to do this one:
Spend one minute in silence asking Jesus to show you something He likes about you.
Spend another minute asking Him to reveal a character weakness He wants you to share with the group.
Go around the circle and share something about yourself that God enjoys. Then something about your character that God would like you to work on to change.
Everyone responds by saying, "Lord Jesus, help us." - Do not comment or give advice.
