“I who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about You, Lord: You alone are my refuge, my place of safety; You are my God, and I trust You.

For You will rescue me from every trap and protect me from deadly disease. You will cover me with your feathers. You will shelter me with your wings. Your faithful promises are my armor and protection.

I will not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day. I will not dread the disease that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday. Though a thousand fall at my side, though ten thousand are dying around me, these evils will not touch me.

I will just open my eyes, and see how the wicked are punished. If I make the Lord my refuge, if I make the Most High my shelter, no evil will conquer me; no plague will come near my home. For You will order your angels to protect me wherever I go. They will hold me up with their hands so I won’t even hurt my foot on a stone. I will trample upon lions and cobras; I will crush fierce lions and serpents under my feet!

[God says this about me]  The Lord says, ‘I will rescue you who love me. I will protect you who trusts in my name. When you call on me, I will answer; I will be with you in trouble. I will rescue and honor you . I will reward you with a long life and give you my salvation.’”

We who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This we declare about You, Lord: You alone are our refuge, our place of safety; You are our God, and we trust You.

For You will rescue us from every trap and protect us from deadly disease. You will cover us with your feathers. You will shelter us with your wings. Your faithful promises are our armor and protection.

We will not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day. We will not dread the disease that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday. Though a thousand fall at our side, though ten thousand are dying around us, these evils will not touch us.

We will just open our eyes, and see how the wicked are punished. If we make the Lord our refuge, if we make the Most High our shelter, no evil will conquer us; no plague will come near our home. For You will order your angels to protect us wherever we go. They will hold us up with their hands so we won’t even hurt our foot on a stone. We will trample upon lions and cobras; We will crush fierce lions and serpents under our feet!

The Lord says of us: “I will rescue you who love me. I will protect you who trusts in my name. When you call on me, I will answer; I will be with you in trouble. I will rescue and honor you. I will reward you with a long life and give you my salvation.”

Caerán a mi lado mil, Y diez mil a mi diestra; Mas a mí no llegarán.

Caerán a nuestro lado mil, Y diez mil a nuestra diestra; Mas a nosotros no llegarán.
