DEFINITION

Where healing is needed from verbal, physical, self, emotional, sexual, and spiritual abuse that has touched our lives.
Where cleansing is needed from our participation in verbal, physical, self, emotional, sexual, and spiritual abuse that have touched our own and other’s lives.
REPENT
Holy God, I confess the sins of my former generations where they gave place to the spirit of abuse. I repent of all involvement with abuse or the spirit of abuse in my own life.
RENOUNCE
I choose this day to separate myself from any and all connection with the spirit of abuse. Spirit of abuse, I renounce you and all you stand for. I renounce all the hurt and pain you’ve caused and the damage you’ve done in the lives of others.
BREAK
Spirit of abuse, I break all agreements I have made with you. I break all claims you have had on me or on my family. I break all curses, vows, covenants, or agreements that have given you any power in my life or in my family. You have no further claim on me. Your rule in my life and in my family ends today. Never again will you torment me mentally, emotionally, or physically. In the mighty Name of Jesus! Amen!
